#27 Tools on Editing Software

 Before I start filming I want to make sure I know how to use key features of my editing software. This year, I will be using VN Video Editor.

The first thing I did was go to YouTube and look up "VN Video Editor". I found a tutorial that explains all the basic features like transitions and audio editing. This video went into detail with editing audio to make one sound louder or layer two sounds on top of each other. 

this video covered all the things I was concerned about. As I started planning, I knew I wanted to have music and talking overlap, I wasn't sure how I was going to do this without it being overwhelming for the viewers. This video showed me how to properly adjust the volume and overlap sounds so it is cohesive. The video also taught me what transitions to use so that I can decide whether I want quick cuts or smooth transitions.

Finding a video that covers all aspects of editing a video and all the features that could be used on the editing software taught me new things that I will apply when I edit my film.
