#28 Practice Editing Sounds
In my previous blog post, I learned about different tools I can use to edit my film. In this blog post, I will be practicing different techniques I want to utilize in my film but I will be focusing on audio today. As I have discussed in previous blog posts, I want to layer a song and muffled talking in one of the scenes. Practicing this will make it easier for me in post-production.
The first thing I did was screen-record the song I needed to use. To do this I used my phone and went on YouTube to find the song. Then, I airdropped the screen recording to my laptop. From there I imported the file to VN Video Editor. I followed the same process for the muffled talking I plan on using in one of my scenes.
Once all of my audios were in VN, I clicked on the song and changed the volume level to 90. I did the same thing for the muffled voices but I made the volume level 85. I also have the option of making the audio fade in and out, I will most likely use this when I start editing so it all sounds cohesive instead of choppy.
