#35 Filming Day One
I finally started my filming process! Since Hayden, Evan, and I have the same first period we decided that it would be the best time to film the scenes that correlate with the blog post "Storyboard pt.2".
Before I started filming I wanted to make sure it was okay with everyone in my first period that I was filming. After I got their permission I asked them to keep talking to each other but make it a bit quieter so it was background noise.
I messed around with a few different shots to make sure I chose the best option for my film. Since it was the first day of filming there were many mess-ups, trial runs, and script changes. I changed a few things about the script so it came naturally to my actors. Im very happy with how the first day of filming went and I have figured out what will work and what won't work.
Since there are many scenes that I had to choose between I wanted to share and also explain why I didn't use them.
In this blooper, the lighting on my camera kept changing. This made the scene go from very bright to dark quickly. To fix this I had to make sure that the lighting in the room was a bit darker and the lighting was adjusted on my phone.
In the next blooper, Evan forgot one of his lines. To fix this I let him re-read his lines. After re-reading he got it on the second try.
These bloopers will be posted on my YouTube and Instagram accounts.
