#41 Background Actors Advertisement

 Advertising is a big part of producing a film. Proper advertisement will attract your target audience. One of my first few scenes includes John walking around school by himself. I did not want to have completely random strangers in this scene, so I created an open casting call for background actors. Even though they have a small role, it creates a difference. 

To make the advertisement, I used a template on canva. I wanted to make it colorful so it is eye-catching for teenagers. I used different shades of pink since that color is associated with love, and I want to have hints towards the ending of my short film in my advertising. To advertise, I posted the flyer on my Instagram in hopes of getting some commenters who show interest in my film and want to be apart of the process.
